There are thousands of Spring Run Chinook in the Upper Rogue River right now. We are catching them on herring rapped quickfish and back bouncing roe. These fish can be down right impossible to get on your hook so increase your odds and go with a guide. Trout fishin also opened on the Rogue river on May 23rd. The fly fishing has been great with multiple hatches going off. Looking forward to record numbers of steelhead in the river this year with a hand full of them already in the river.
